The importance of studying Media Studies is to understand ourselves better and the things around us. Such as, why we watch Tv so much or use our phones so often. We use these devices so much simply because it entertains us. For Example. I use my phone for multiple hours in a day to watch movies and shows, text/call my friends/ friends or even to use social media! In Addition, it is engaging to people in my age because it targets teenagers' audience. Furthermore, 3 things I find interesting about Media Studies is first media studies includes other different things like mass communication, media language and many other things. Secondly, you get to learn more about film. Lastly, you notice things you never noticed before in films.
The type of media product I'll be documenting on my blog is my 2-minute opening film. For this film, my target audience is teenagers. My purpose for creating this film is to engage my audience with emotions such as, excitement, suspense, suspense and many more emotions. Adding on, the theme for this film is a love story where 2 characters love each other then, the love doesn't work and one of turns crazy. Also, what I need to create my film is learning to create a good thriller and understanding how it works. Finally, my film will be released around Christmas.
Strategies and skills I need to create my film is having a good plot, many plot twists and having a protagonists/ antagonist. These will help me be successful in completing my component 1 with a high score because these strategies and skills will help me make a fortunate thriller.
