Introduction Paragraph
The strongest elements are how the characters costume coordinate's and supports the genre of the film (horror). In Addition, the character Abraham (the doppelgänger of Gabe) was holding a bat. Which symbolizes that he's the bad guy/ antagonist. Adding on, red (the doppelgänger of Adelaide) was holding gold scissors throughout her part in the movie. Like the bat, the scissors also symbolizes that she is another antagonist. The audience can infer that could be used as a murder weapon too. The director supports the genre with the elements of makeup, setting, acting, costume, because the doppelgänger Umbrae.
(Umbrae)
Second Paragraph
Doing this activity was very informational. It gave me more if a background on things the audience doesn't realize. Something so simple can support a genre. Such as, the character's costume. Costumes can also, have the audience infer who the character is, or help give an insight on the character. For Instance, a character wearing black can represent mystery, bold, edgy and so on. In this case, all the doppelgängers are wearing a bold red jumpsuit. Red in general, symbolizes aggression, security, courage and even danger.
Reflection
From the audience point of view, they can easily infer that this character is the antagonist in the film. Adding on, to support this statement the character is also holding the bat, looking angry.
